Born 1957 Long Island, New York...raised there and in Massachusetts...wrote first play at summer camp, 1970...graduated from Marlboro College, Vermont, 1980...MFA in dramatic writing from Yale Drama, 1986...then a few years in New York, writing screenplays and starting to teach...married and moved to Madrid in 1991...meant to stay a year or two, get New York out of system, get a lot of writing done and then go back...didn’t go back...son Sam born 1997.
Currently teaching writing, dramatic literature and acting at Saint Louis University, Madrid campus...directing plays there too...teaching and conferencing elsewhere as well...resumé available on request.
